Bluey's Big Play Detroit Theatre reviews
Never Forget Nam
Bluey's Big Play was a big part of my live during and after my tour in Vietnam. His music was huge during my 1972/1973 deployment. I had never seen JF in concert until last year at a 2009 Concert at Foxwood Casino in Conn. We had such a great time, WOW. John does, and is doing a great job after all these years. Can't remember when I enjoyed such a great show, but I gotta say that Skynard and 38 Special came in as a close 2nd at The Worcester Centrum. My only issue with forgerty is that he nerver sang "Running Through The Jungle" as it is one of my favorites. Enjoyed 38 Special more than Skynar because they, Skynard seem to play the same songs while never mixing it up. Just mention of Skynard comming to town is enough to make me want go see them again and again, but still, boring.
